This year’s company incentive trip to Australia was a dream come true. For many of us, it was our very first time visiting, and Melbourne welcomed us with open arms. What started as a reward for our hard work quickly turned into a journey of discovery, laughter and stronger bonds with one another.
From the moment we landed, we were struck by the beauty of Australia. The air felt fresher, the skies seemed bluer and every place we visited had its own charm. Traveling as a team made everything even more special as we share meals, explore new sights together and celebrate achievements side by side.
Australia revealed itself as more than just a destination. From the vibrant laneways of Melbourne to the dramatic cliffs along the Great Ocean Road, from cozy cafés to wildlife adventures, every day brought something new. The beaches amazed us with their clean air and clear water, the city impressed us with culture and energy and even the cool, windy weather felt refreshing and comforting.
Day 1: Scenic Coastal Drive & Welcome Fine Dining
Our journey began with a scenic road trip along the Mornington Peninsula. After coffee and breakfast on the go, we admired ocean views before boarding the Sorrento–Queenscliff ferry. A seaside lunch of traditional fish & chips was followed by a walk through Geelong’s Pako Lane, full of vibrant local life.
That evening, we officially kicked off the trip with a welcome fine dining experience at Dante Restaurant. Gathered around elegant plates and warm conversations, we celebrated our teamwork and the achievements that brought us here. It was the perfect way to set the tone of unity, gratitude and shared excitement for the days ahead

Day 2: Exploring Melbourne City
Our team spent the second day exploring the heart of Melbourne. We visited the State Library of Victoria, wandered through Bourke Street Mall and China Town, and admired the historic Royal Arcade and Flinders Street Station. In the laneways of Degraves Street, we discovered Melbourne’s famous café culture, while the National Gallery of Victoria offered artistic inspiration.
We ended the day at St. Kilda Pier, enjoying the ocean breeze and watching the sunset together. A gentle reminder of how far we had come as a team

.
Day 3: Phillip Island & Penguin Parade
On Day 3, we headed out of the city, first stopping at the colorful Brighton Bathing Boxes for fun group photos, then enjoying the seaside atmosphere at Mordialloc Beach. By afternoon, we reached Phillip Island, where the highlight awaited us: the Penguin Parade at sunset.
As we sat together, hundreds of tiny penguins waddled ashore. What a truly magical moment that left us all in awe. Sharing such a unique experience bonded us even more

.
Day 4: Great Ocean Road Adventure
The fourth day brought one of the most breathtaking experiences: the Great Ocean Road. From the historic Split Point Lighthouse to the Memorial Arch and the charming town of Lorne, every stop was a postcard come to life.
We spotted koalas in the wild, admired the sweeping views of Apollo Bay, and then stood in silence at the mighty Gibson Steps, the iconic Twelve Apostle, and the dramatic Loch Ard Gorge. It was a day filled with wonder and respect for nature’s power

.
Day 5: Dandenong Ranges & Puffing Billy
We traded the coast for the green beauty of the Dandenong Ranges. Together, we climbed the 1000 Steps Kokoda Memorial Walk, then explored the charming village of Sassafras, where we enjoyed fresh pies for lunch.
The nostalgic ride on the Puffing Billy steam train made us feel like kids again, laughing and waving as we rode through the forest. In the afternoon, we relaxed with a wine tasting at St Huberts Cellar Door, raising glasses to teamwork, friendship, and new experiences

.
Day 6: Suburban Lifestyle & A Special Evening Together
This day gave us a taste of local life beyond the city. We explored Doncaster and nearby suburbs, had a picnic at Ruffy Lake Park, and indulged in some retail therapy at Westfield Mall.
In the evening, we were treated to something truly special, a wonderful home-cooked dinner with grilled lamb and chicken. After the meal, we gathered around a campfire with wine in hand, sharing stories, laughter and heartfelt conversations. The highlight was spending time with our boss’s family, enjoying warm chitchat under the night sky. This intimate and personal evening reminded us that beyond work and travel, we are part of a bigger family

.
Day 7: Farewell Melbourne
On our final day, we explored QV Shopping Centre, Melbourne Central and the bustling Queen Victoria Market. Before heading to the airport, we enjoyed a last team dinner on Lygon Street, ending with desserts at Brunetti. It was the sweetest farewell to a city we had all come to love

.
More Than Just a Trip
This trip was more than sightseeing. It was about coming together as a team, celebrating successes and creating memories that will last forever. Every photo, every laugh and every shared discovery strengthened our connection.
Melbourne gave us beauty, culture and adventure but more importantly, it gave us the gift of time spent together outside the office. We returned not just with souvenirs, but with stronger friendships and renewed energy to take on the future.
