It starts Friday 8th May 2020 and Closes on Thursday 28th May 2020. All participating entries would be posted on our website within 48hrs. Shortlisted top 8 from each category would be posted on MALAYA OPTICAL Facebook on Friday 29th May 2020 for public votes. Voting closes Wednesday 3rd June 2020. Winner of each category would be announced on Friday 5th of June 2020 and would be published on our Facebook and Instagram page.
There are 4 competition categories:
- Category 1 for Primary Year 1-3 (Darjah 1-3)
- Category 2 for Primary Year 4-6 (Darjah 4-6)
- Category 3 for Secondary Year 7-9 (Form 1-3)
- Category 4 for Secondary Year 10-11 (Form 4-5)
To enter: Create an artwork celebrating our theme: CREATIVE ART from HOME.
Artwork can be 2D (e.g. drawing, painting, sidewalk chalk drawing etc.) or 3D (e.g. sculpture, construction).
For privacy reasons, student’s FIRST NAME & SCHOOL NAME will be published only.
By submitting your work, you are giving permission for MALAYA OPTICAL to showcase your artwork along with your name (first name only) and school name on this website (see entrant gallery below), and to share your artwork on MALAYA OPTICAL’s social media platforms.
ONE ENTRY PER STUDENT. This competition is open to ALL students currently enrolled in a Primary and Secondary School within Malaysia.
