All of us at Malaya Optical are trained with the right procedures and with the right equipment to service, repair, and adjust your eyewear.

Most of the time when such eyeglasses or sunglasses come to our hand, it’s already in weakened condition e.g. material fatigue, microlens scratches, lens coatings peeling off, lens material weakening due to wear and tear or even by mishandling.

Sometimes, even with the best care taken to your eyewear, the unavoidable happens, the lens will break or chip or coating may peel, frame hinge damaged, frame chipped or frame damage.

In any event, during your own lenses, frame or sunglasses submission for edging, adjustment or services the following conditions will apply:

  1. If your own lenses purchased previously from Malaya Optical are damaged during submission for edging, adjustment or services, we will give you up to 40% discount of RSP on the new lens from our retail store.
  2. If your own frame or sunglasses purchased previously from Malaya Optical are damaged during submission for edging, adjustment or services, we will give you a 40% discount on RSP of a new frame from our retail store based on similar value, brand, design, and color. Do take note that we might not be able to find the exact brand or model of your frames or sunglasses. If you decide to purchase elsewhere, we would not compensate for any amount.
  3. If your lenses, frames, or sunglasses submission for edging, adjustment or services were not purchased at Malaya Optical, we will not bear any liability when they are lost or damaged by us during for edging, adjustment or services.

Having read this, you would have agreed to our Own Lenses, Frame or Sunglasses Submission Policy.

Of course, we will endeavor to be as careful as can be. Do note that we strive our very best to make sure your lenses, frame, or sunglasses are edged, adjusted, and serviced correctly. If you do not agree to this, please make it known to us immediately and do not fill out the form.
